About IT-CELL

IT Cell comprises a team that provides technical assistance across the organization, such as installing new tools or troubleshooting software and hardware issues. The IT department oversees the installation and maintenance of computer network systems within the Institute. IT Cell’s objective is to keep the IT ecosystem up and running. The Cell is focused on operating technology infrastructure such as networks, monitoring them and ensuring services and systems are available and performing normally to support day to day operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

To ensure the effective and trouble-free performance of computer systems, networks and software applications for day to day activities.
To provide support and service to the IT requirements of the departments.
To ensure data security and data integrity through anti-virus software and firewalls.
To maintain regular backups of critical data.
To maintain the application software versions used by the departments.
To maintain a stock of IT infrastructure including Wi-Fi Access Points and LAN.
To Plan maintenance repair, servicing, upgrading and replacement of IT assets.
To monitor internet bandwidth and ensure uninterrupted internet facility.
It also includes complete Institute Websites’ functioning such as Designing, upgrading, uploading of information etc.
Handling SEO, SMO, Social Media Marketing, Advertisement campaigns through google search, display network, Bulk SMS & Bulk WhatsApp, Creative design, content creation etc.
The IT Cell also focuses on the official E-mail id(s) management of the students, teachers and employees.
